VIP students
Every week we learn more about our classmates when we celebrate our VIP student. The VIP student brings in 5 items that represent her/him and she/he also answers a series of interview questions. We ask him/her about favorite things to do, favorite foods and things he/she would like to become an expert at. Each student gets a chance to be the VIP. The students look forward to this every Friday. Check out our first few VIP students...

Poem of the Week
Wow! December is flying by... Check out the students in the "Ten and Up Club". These students read their poem of the week to at least 10 or more family and friends. These poems really help us to practice fluent reading. Nice job!

Last few days of summer...
Hi new second grade families,
I am so excited to meet my new second grade friends! Although it's been a very busy and fun summer, I have been working very hard getting our room ready for a new year. I hope to see you on Tuesday, September 3rd from 3:30-5:00 in room 312.
If you can't make it in on Tuesday, I will be eagerly waiting to meet you at our door Wednesday morning. Enjoy your last few days of summer!
