Thanksgiving Fun

We had a very busy November! We learned about The Pilgrims, The Mayflower, and the story of Thanksgiving. We gathered together with Mrs. Wiggs' class to share what we are thankful for. Mrs. Marsh's class made Stone Soup and Mrs. Wiggs' class made Friendship Fruit Salad. It was SO fun! Check out our pics below. Happy Thanksgiving!

Our first writing celebration

After a lot of hard work, we got together to share our writing with Mrs. Wiggs' class. In order to celebrate, we "toasted" our hard work with toast. Each student got to pick their favorite toast topping, and share their writing with a partner. What fun!!

An apple a day...

How about those apples??? We have been looking at apples like a scientist. We learned about an apple tree's life cycle, we examined the parts of an apple, we used adjectives to describe an apple with our senses. We even learned about Johnny Appleseed. On Friday, we will be making our own homemade applesauce. YUMMY!! Can you already smell its amazing aroma??

First Day- Yeah!

It's finally here- our first day of school!!  I am so nervous to start teaching all of you.  I wonder if some of you are a bit nervous too…  We will have a great day making new friends, I am sure of it!  I can’t wait!   See you soon.
